Hmong Veterans served honorably during the Vietnam War. It is estimated 30,000-40,000 Hmong people died during the war. Hmong soldiers were vital to the war effort and saved countless American lives. We are honored to work with Hmong Veterans to honor their service. We have helped pass legislation creating a Hmong Veterans drivers license, establishing May 15th as Hmong American Veterans Day in Alaska, and securing military burials for Hmong Veterans. We have more work to do!

We are proud to share our Hmong culture with our neighbors. Our Hmong dance group is often invited to perform at community events.

We also help with language access, often attending government meetings or doctor appointments to help with translating and understanding government documents, processes, and health care access and treatment information.
